RFID systems

For use in adverse operating conditions, Contrinex has developed an all-metal RFID system (low-frequency technology). The all-metal transponders and read/write modules of stainless steel V2A or V4A/AISI 316L are mechanically as well as chemically (virtually) indestructible and therefore resistant to shock, abrasion and corrosion. The food-safe and corrosion-resistant V4A executions have been optimized for temperatures of up to +125 °C and the tags are totally impervious (IP 68 & IP 69K). Most tags can be fully embedded in metal and are thus suitable for use in metallic surroundings.

Contrinex also offers a product range which works according to high-frequency technology (13.56 MHz). This standard system is ISO/IEC 15693 compatible and allows for the integration of all norm-compliant tags. The new system is particularly user friendly, since its read/write modules can be connected directly to an RS485 field bus. In this way, a network of up to 254 read/write modules can be built-up.

Both product ranges are presented in the new Contrinex RFID catalogue. Please feel free to order your copy from your local Contrinex sales office or download the pdf file below.
