Safety light curtains and access control barriers are used wherever risks cannot be eliminated through machine design. A person or any part of the body entering a danger zone is detected by the safety device, leading to immediate machine stoppage.

The Contrinex safety light curtains as well as access control barriers correspond to safety category 4 and Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1) as well as type 4 (IEC 61496-1/-2).The range comprises models with resolutions of 14 mm (YBB14) for finger protection and 30 mm (YBB30) for hand protection as well as access control barriers (YCA) with 3 to 6 beams and beam gaps of 300, 400 or 500 mm. All types offer a choice between two channels and are “designed to cost”, thus offering top quality at attractive prices.
